I had been ...Thanks for posting these travel tips. I had been feeling I might be out of my "comfort Zone" because I may have to go out of town overnight one of these days. First time since my new leg two years ago. My conclusion was not to take a wheelchair for nighttime but to just put the leg back on to get out of bed, which I can do in less than a minute... And sponge baths work great for short time. If we could do that in the rehab hospital...then no problem for short time although your shower hints are pretty good. <br /><br />I've not flown yet, though, U.S. But I've wondered what one would have to go through to do so. Leave it to our airports to make it more of a problem.
